University Enterprises operate food services, and other commercial enterprises on the California State University, Sacramento campus; it is responsible for grant and contract management and fiscal services for University research and sponsored programs and provides fiscal services to University related agencies and activities. University Enterprises is a non-profit corporation governed by a board of directors in conformance with the appropriate State of California codes and policy directives of the Board of Trustees and the campus administration.
The University Union Operation of CSUS, Inc. (UUOCI) is an auxiliary of California State University, Sacramento and is a California 501(c) 3 Not for Profit Corporation. The corporation consists of two buildings, the University Union and the Recreation Wellness Center (The Well). The WELL facility houses both Recreational Programs and Health Services. The WELL offers a fully integrated wellness service for students, faculty, and staff. The Recreation Center consists of 124,000 square feet, and the Health Center consists of 29,000 square feet. The facility houses the following amenities: basketball courts, MAC court, racquetball courts, fitness studios, cardio center, weight lifting center, personal training, group fitness, fitness testing room, climbing wall with a bouldering area, café/food service, small conference center, men’s and women’s locker rooms, a cabana locker room, and administrative offices, in addition to various lounges.
