Our high school offers two classes in outdoor education as a part of the physical education department. The classes are semester long. Course offerings include orienteering, mobile problem solving activities, rock climbing, rappelling, caving, outdoor cooking, camping skills, nature study, trip planning, and high ropes courses.
The focus of the course is to introduce students to outdoor adventure activities that are available in the region. Opportunities to link with area organizations is encouraged to reach higher skill levels and like minded individuals.
