YMCA Storer Camps located near Jackson, MI prides ourselves on a 1250 acre property full of nature, horses, rustic buildings, modern lodges, history, passion, and amazing people. We are proud to host over 120 schools and more than 50 retreat groups throughout the year. Our senior leadership staff strives to help passionate staff grow professionally and personally. Storer Camps will be hosting the upcoming Mid American Camping Conference in January, 2017.
Program Educators are the front line staff for our schools and weekend/specialty groups who teach in the areas of Natural Sciences, Cultural History (Pioneer and Native American studies) and Adventure Education. Applicants should have a desire and ability to work with children and adults in a Christian camp setting. College degree or relative work experience preferred. Work non-traditional hours, 10 out of 14 days including some nights and weekends. Benefits include: on-site housing, meals when groups are in camp, curriculum manual, and YMCA fitness membership to the local YMCA.
