Job Description

SOAR, Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, is currently seeking outdoor educators, GAP mentors, trip leaders, and those who are studying in related fields and have the drive and passion to work with neurodivergent youth for the 2024 summer season.

We welcome those passionate about youth engagement and adventure-based experiences that promote life skill development. SOAR’s mission is to empower neurodivergent youth through fun, challenging, and unique trip and travel-style programs that foster social, emotional, and physical skill development and self-understanding.

We offer 10 to 17-day co-ed expeditions from bases in Balsam, NC, and Dubois, WY, as well as programs in the Florida Keys and California. Our activities range from rock climbing, caving, whitewater rafting, canoeing, backpacking, llama trekking, and horseback riding to cultural and STEM experiences.
