China Beach is one of those unique routes that possess character; ask any of its ascenders and they’ll probably tell you how memorable and meaningful it was for them to climb it. Nina Wiliams had her eyes set on it since she was a child. As a New Englander, she found herself staring at China Beach every time she’d be climbing at Waimea (Rumney, NH) and now two decades later, she came back to put up the first female ascent of this king line: CHINA BEACH 5.14B/8C
