The 92nd Street Y is a world-renowned Jewish Community Center in New York City. The Y has an over 125-year history of providing the community with cultural, recreational, spiritual, artistic, intellectual, and other opportunities. The 12 summer camp programs offer campers of all ages, interest and needs a safe, secure environment in which to build self-esteem, develop new skills, and grow as individuals. We have 3 camps for children with developmental and other disabilities, specialty camps in the areas of arts and science/nature, introductory sleepaway camps, teen travel camps, and traditinal day camps. The majority of the camps take place at our beautiful, wooded campgrounds located in Rockland County (about 40 minutes from Manhattan) and staff and campers travel together each day on motor coaches from locations all over Manhattan. The camp team is comprised of dedicated individuals with social work and education backgrounds who have deeply rooted commitments to providing children and families with the best, most nurturing camp programs possible.
