AOS specializes in human powered wildrenss expeditions. Students explore some of the most scenic and diverse locations in North America while biking, backpacking, paddling, spelunking, rock climbing, mountaineering and snowboarding.

During the school year we offer education based programs to public and private school groups that follow a science and leadership curriculum. School programs explore the Texas Hill Country, West Texas, Padre Island National Seashore, Texas Caves, and Buffalo National River in Arkansas. Customized Expeditions are also available.

We also offer summer expeditions to young adults throughout the United States and Canada. Our programs offer high adventure activities in the Texas Hill Country, the Pacific Northwest, British Columbia, Alaska and the Yukon.
