Camp Namanu has a rich history of helping campers explore the outdoors, and in turn learning more about themselves in the process.
We welcome over 1,500 campers each summer in our Overnight Camp and Ranch Camp. Camp Namanu’s 552 acres serve as the outdoor classroom and playground for hundreds of Oregon youth each year. A night at Camp Namanu could mean sleeping out beneath stars, or in a tree house perched over the Sandy river, or nestled by the fireplace in one of our historic Lodges.
Camp Namanu is a welcoming, empowering place for kids entering grades K-12 to spend their summer. Youth of all backgrounds are encouraged to try this inclusive and supportive resident camp from July to August. Kids can stay for as little as three days or for up to two weeks.
Campers are encouraged to participate in fun activities like archery, horseback riding, swimming, arts and crafts, rock climbing, ropes courses, boating, nature exploration, and weaving
