The mission of Camp Summit is to provide barrier-free outdoor experiences that promote personal growth and foster independence for children and adults with disabilities.

Camp Summit offers weeklong camp sessions during the summer and fall months and spring break and weekend sessions and respite days in the fall and spring seasons. Campers are offered a wide variety of traditional camp activities in our barrier-free environment which includes

Camp Summit’s program goal is to provide a fun camping experience for the camper regardless of the severity of their disability.

Camp Summit’s campers may range in age from six to ninety-nine years old. Our campers may be developmentally delayed , physically challenged, deaf blind multi-handicapped or have multiple disabilities ranging from mild to severe. 

Our programming not only benefits the camper, but also provides families with a much needed period of respite.

Camp Summit is located in Argyle, Texas, just north of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex on 117 acres of land. We are accredited by the American Camp Association and licensed as a Youth Camp in the State of Texas.
