DREAM is a truly unique organization that pairs groups of college students with children from affordable housing communities in Vermont. Combining best practices from both mentoring and community development programs, DREAM creates life-changing experiences for both college students and children. There are currently DREAM Local Programs at six different colleges around the state of Vermont. Each of our programs is student-led and is distinctly unique.

DREAM’s summer camp is a linchpin for DREAM’s network of local Vermont mentoring programs. It is a place where DREAM children learn valuable transferable life skills, local programs collaborate, and mentors are energized and trained. Camp brings DREAMers together, deepening relationships through the creation of shared, strong memories. In the years to come, Camp will become a place that holds DREAMers together long after their graduation from local mentoring programs.

At the moment, our site plan and Camp program will include environmental education, a low ropes challenge course, a homesteading site, an organic garden, and interpretive nature trails. We are currently seeking a site manager who is experienced in both outdoor education and facilities management!
