Eagle’s Nest Foundation supports an experiential learning center whose intention is to elevate the individual within community life to active what it means to belong: to nature, to ecosystems, to spirit, to hard work, to society and history, to friends and to the process to transition itself. The Foundation is represented by two programs, Eagle’s Nest Camp and The Outdoor Academy of the Southern Appalachians. At our small camp and school, we provide experiential instruction in the arts, natural sciences and outdoor leadership. We are committed to the process of positive social maturation for young people learning to understand relationships within an intentional community. Our nest is a safe, supportive place from which to dare to learn.
