Educo Adventure School

Updated: December 6, 2018

Educo Adventure School is a non-profit wilderness school located 30km west of 100 Mile House, nestled in between the stunning mountains of the Cariboo-Chilcotin region of BC, Canada. We aknowledge and respect that Educo lies on the traditional territory of the Tsq’escen’ First Nations.  We have been in operation since 1978, and 2019 will be our 50th year.

At Educo, we provide all youth ages 9-19, as well as school and community groups, with transformational outdoor experiences that focus on self development, leadership skills, and community building. Our programs last anywhere between 1-10 days, and run from May to September every year. We also believe some degree of risk and adventure is key to us helping achieve this. Students finish an Educo program with a better sense of connection to themselves, each other, and the outside world. Students develop a deeper understanding of the land around them, as well as it’s history and how the land has been stewarded by the local Tsq’escen’ for centuries.  Students are pushed outside their comfort zones while also learning how to support others and be open and honest with one another.
