Fernwood Cove is an all girls, traditional, residential camp located in Harrison, Maine. Fernwood Cove offers spirit, philosophy and a traditional camp experience, in two separate 3 1/2 week sessions. Fernwood Cove hires a diverse, multicultural staff, to help create this environment and encourage the campers to step outside their comfort zones. We help to create a safe environment for girls to experience personal growth, take safe risks, and build life lasting friendships. Our program allows each camper to have her own individualized schedule, in which she is responsible in getting herself to and from each activity. Our activities are separated in to younger and older half of camp in order to keep learning levels similar but to allow for campers from different age groups to participate together.

Being a camp counselor is one of the most rewarding jobs you will ever have. We believe that having an excellent staff is the key to providing our campers with a wonderful summer experience. You will be appreciated for your hard work, determination, and involvement in your activity area and with the campers. You will also learn a lot about yourself, and make some of the best friends you will ever have. Whether it is your first summer or your fifth summer, we believe in you!
