River Ridge Environmental Education Program offers over thirty ecology, teambuilding, and recreational classes to 4th -8th grade students. Classes incorporate many hands-on activities taught to field groups of approximately ten students. Classes include lake ecology, high ropes, Native American studies, reptile and amphibian adaptations, and canoeing.

River Ridge is located on a three point penninsula on Watts Bar Lake, one hour west of Knoxville, TN. We use over 144 acres of forests, fields, and the lake to encourage students to appreciate their natural environment with understanding and appreciation.
