We are an outdoor education program located in the Sierra Nevada Foothills of California. We serve elementary, junior high and high school students from Northern California. School groups of 4th-6th grade students come for 1-5 day residential outdoor education programs, focusing on environmental science, outdoor adventure, team building, and gold rush history. The surrounding mixed-conifer forest is the primary classroom. The giant sequoia forests, local caverns and Columbia Historic State Park also provide rich educational experiences. The L.A.I.R. (Life’s Adventures Involving Risks) Academy is an outdoor adventure program that develops leadership and team skills in 7th-12th grade students.
