The Sultana Education Foundation is an award-winning nonprofit based on Maryland’s Eastern Shore of that provides experiential education programs focusing on the history and environment of the Chesapeake Bay to more than 12,000 K-12 students annually. The Foundation offers a variety program formats to participating schools, including under-sail programs on a replica of the 1768 schooner SULTANA, canoe and kayak-based programs, wetland and watershed-based programs, as well as science and geography-based programs from the Foundation’s new LEED Platinum Education Center.
