UWCSEA is a 4-18 comprehensive school of 2700 boys and girls of over sixty nationalities. 200 students live in the boarding community.
The school comprises three units: Elementary School for 4-10 year old students, Lower School for 10-12 year old students and High School for 12-18 year olds. High School students take the (I)GCSE at the age of sixteen and International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) at the age of eighteen.
The College has superb facilities.
The school derives much of its distinctive character from the broad level of commitment offered by its teachers and its pursuit of the mission statement of the United World College movement, which encourages service and a sensitivity to political, environmental and cultural issues.
