Valley Catholic is a co-ed, college-preparatory middle and high school of 485 students, 365 of whom are in grades 9-12. The school is located in Beaverton, OR, a mile south of Nike’s World Campus. We are a Catholic school, founded in 1903 by the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon. We share a 50-acre campus with St. Mary of the Valley Grade School (K-6), Little Flower Development Center (K and pre-K), Maryville Nursing Home, and the convent of the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon. Approximately one-third of our students and faculty are non-Catholic. Our curriculum is rigorous: 4 years of English, 3 1/2 of Social Studies, 3 of Mathematics, 3 of Scince (biology, physics, and chemistry), 2 of Foreign Language, and 4 of Religion are required, as are Computer, Health, P.E., and Arts courses. Our sports classification is 3A, the second largest classification in Oregon–we are the smallest 3A school in the state. We field boys’ and girls’ teams in soccer, cross-country, basketball, swimming, track, golf, and tennis; girls’ teams in volleyball, softball, and dance; and a boys’ team in baseball. We have many instumental and vocal musical groups on campus, and we produce two major dramas each year. Tuition is $7,640 per year. Many students receive financial aid.
