YMCA Camp Grady Spruce is the outdoor center of the Dallas Metropolitan YMCA. Camp Grady Spruce is located on beautiful Possum Kingdom Lake in North Central Texas.

The mission of YMCA Camp Grady Spruce is to deliver exceptional outdoor programs that inspire, build, and strengthen relationships with God, His creation, and each other.

The 15 year old residential Outdoor Education Program serves 6,000 people each year – the majority being 5th grade students. The curriculum, which supports the state established Texas Essential Knowledge And Skills, encompasses science, english, math, art, and laguage arts. And the curriculum is primarily trail based.

Outdoor Educators/Naturalists deliver the program to the students. The program includes evening activities.

The Outdoor Educators live separately from the students Students are supervised by accompanying chaperones and school personnel.

In additon to the Outdoor Educatin Program, YMCA Camp Grady Spruce offers Residential Summer Camp and Retreat Programs.
