NAU Outdoors utilizes outdoor adventure programming to help individuals learn and develop leadership, teamwork and effective group interaction skills. This experience-based learning serves to develop character and personal interaction skills needed for effectiveness in all walks of life.
Established in 1991, we annually serve 4,000 students in various outdoor programs. Numerous university student leaders are employed each semester, where professional skills are developed through outfitting, leading, facilitating, and instructing programs.
